We live in troubling times, and our temptation is to be so overwhelmed by circumstances that we forget God’s promises. Against all odds, the Lord invites us to adopt the attitude of hope. Whereas natural hope is the desire and anticipation for a specific outcome that is within the realm of possibility, biblical hope is the joyful, confident anticipation and expectation of what God has guaranteed. God wants us to live with confident certainty that He is going to keep His promise to us.
